I used to frequent Remo during free periods at high school. I would forgo the school library in favour of the photo booth, and yummy coffee and biscotti from the cafe. When the store closed, I cried into my red spotted Remo handkerchief.

This ingenious construction kit contains eight different custom-designed paper models to build yourself. From a delightful car with driver to a pop-up monster or a plane with propeller. There are perforated construction sheets for each figure and additional material, including wooden sticks, rubber bands and beads, and an extensive manual with detailed step-by-step instructions. Even those with limited experience will be able to build these models. The colourful results will delight children and the young at heart.

Each model has been lovingly created to include a special motion feature: when you push the car, the driver and his luggage sway amusingly from side to side due to clever positioning of the rear axle; the doll moves gracefully at the slightest breath of wind; and the clown's facial expression changes when you turn the wooden stick.

Presented in a quality metal box, this is a unique source of fun and the perfect gift for parents and children alike!

Kit Contains: eight different models, extensive colour manual with step-by-step building instructions, 35 perforated construction sheets, wooden sticks, rubber bands, string, wire, plastic beads.

Dimensions: 148mm x 210mm

About the Author

François Chetcuti was born in Clermont-Ferrand (France) in 1960. He studied sculpture at the Ecole des beaux-arts in Paris and has been working as a freelance artist since 1987. He built his first paper models as a child.

For 20 years he has been collecting toys and children's books from the 1950s and 1960s, especially mechanical tin toys. From this he developed the idea of making moveable paper figures ... for fans of old fashioned toys who love to do craftwork.

François lives with his wife Pascale, an author and illustrator, and heir children Susie Lou and Noe near Lille in France.
