I frequented the Crown St shop with my work mates back in 1991. We still wear our shirts from then, mostly just starting to frey at the necks-my brother has stolen most now. Still use my Bisonte big brass key ring and loved my elephant beach chair. My stripey long sleeve top my favourite and so glad to know your still there. Only found you today-so my xmas shopping begins. Hope you still seel the fortune telling fishies! I'm so excited, Monica

it's taken a long time, but we have finally tracked down the classic Pinocchio!

Pinocchio is a fictional character that first appeared in 1883, in The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi, and has since appeared in many adaptations of that story and others. Carved from a piece of pine by a woodcarver named Geppetto in a small Italian village, he was created as a puppet, but dreamt of becoming a real boy.

Sevi, the maker of this version of Pinocchio, was the first ever manufacturer who created 'Pinocchio' as a toy.

Sevi is the trademark of Europe's oldest wooden-toy manufacturer whose history spans almost two centuries of devotion to wood. It takes it's name from the initials of Senoner Vinzenz the son of Josef Anton who founded the company in 1831.

Our Pinoccio stands 30cm tall, with arms and legs that are jointed for movement.
