Made by hand on a family owned coconut farm in Tongatapu, in the Kingdom of Tonga, Pure Pacifique products are one of the few truly authentic and little-known jewels in the South Pacific's crown.

Produced in small quality-controlled batches from 100% natural, organic, unrefined virgin coconut oil, the Pure Pacifique range hails from Tonga's rich Lolo (meaning "oil") coconut tradition.

Hand pressed from fresh coconuts, this amazingly aromatic virgin coconut oil is 100% natural, organic, and unrefined without the use of chemical solvents, bleaches, fragrances or additives.

Traditionally used to keep men warm at sea, as a natural skin nourisher, to alleviate the pain of sprains, or to simply beautify skin and hair ("shine" is considered a sign of beauty in Tonga), Lolo was, and remains, a Tongan family staple.

Lolo is used for beautifying body and hair, soothing itchiness, nappy rash, muscle pain, and dry cracked skin. Use a few spoonfuls for a deliciously soothing bath elixir, as a massage medium, or as a nourishing hot oil for hair or smoothing body oil.

Lolo was once made all over Tonga, with every family having a preferred Lolo specialist who hand-pressed and infused coconut oil with their favorite flowers, leaves, or barks.

While the art of making Lolo is sadly fading from many regions with the last of the Lolo Oil makers, Pure Pacifique continues the tradition with this exquisite Lolo Oil.

Lolo Oil naturally goes solid under 18 degrees, but melts on skin contact. When solid, warm jar under the tap. Comes complete with wooden Lolo scooping spoon and instructions. Highly concentrated, as Pure Pacifique products are free from traditional bulking agents, a little bit of Lolo Oil goes an incredibly long way!

Cheyenne Morrison has given this product a 5 star rating | Traditional Polynesian Beauty Product
Back in the 1980's I used to import "Monoi" or coconut oil from Tahiti, and 14 ounce bottles sold for $15 back then, so this price is a bargain. This oil is the true Polynesian recipe, hand made on the islands, by islanders. Its a great nature beauty product which is useful for a variety of purposes. My favourite is to put it is to lightly heat (1 min in microwave) put on your hair, leave one hour then wash out. Makes your hair so soft and silky. Perfect for those with dry or damaged hair.

Wow! I received this as a present last week and as it looked and smelt so luscious I massaged it into my hair that very night. I left it on for an hour or so as the instructions suggested and 5 days later my hair is still the softest it has been since I can't remember when. I might become addicted. PS the spoon was missing from the parcel.
