I love this site, the products, the concept, its evolution ... and I found it through a friend who was wearing a Remo TV t-shirt. It took me back - so nice to see something so contemporary and sentimental at the same time. A few boxes of Splayds and some Moleskines later, I have bought my own TV t-shirt, and have decked out hubby in a few as well (he is a Strong Silent Type after all).

It was on a Thursday in 1976 that the Australian Crown Lands department agreed to lease Christopher Dean a research site amidst the wetlands of Bungawalbyn near Ballina in NSW Australia. Hence "Thursday Plantation" was a born with a mission to grow the world's best tea trees on the world's first tea tree plantation.

Tea tree oil has a proud history as a reliable first aid treatment which dates back to its presentation to the Royal Society in 1923 by Arthur Penfold of the Sydney Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences. During the 1930's it was scientifically recognised throughout the world for its remarkable and natural germicidal properties.

Some of us have been using the shampoo, the conditioner, the deodorant and the pepperminty toothpaste for the longest time. They're not always easy to find. As a consequence (and although you might not classify these as typically REMOesque "thoughtful gifts") we've decided to add them to our General Store range so that, once and for all, they will be easily available for all existing followers and fresh converts.
